We all can use more stability and gentleness in our minds and our lives. This starts with examining our own experience: what is going on in our minds and our lives from the perspective of warmth, humor and resilience. Over time, we can grow our ability to relax and skillfully engage with every aspect of our lives: friends, family and eventually society itself.

This 4 week class, Meditation in Everyday Life provides a foundation for establishing a regular meditation practice in the reality of our everyday lives: the joys, challenges and details of living in our speedy and often difficult world.

Four 1-1/2 hour-long classes cover

Class 1: Posture & Foundations of Meditation

Class 2: Breath & Feeling our Emotions

Class 3: Thoughts & Understanding our Human Worthiness

Class 4: Bringing it Together & Going Out Into the World

As a theme throughout the course, we’ll explore how creating stability and gentleness in our minds can expand outward to benefit our friends, family, neighbors, and society as a whole.
