Open Public Meditation Times
The following times are available for people to join us for meditation. We prefer that you receive Shambhala meditation instruction before joining these sessions, though you are welcome to come sit if you are an experienced meditator from another tradition. (You are still encouraged to receive the instruction, to better understand our style of practice.)

Shambhala After Dark (aka Young Meditators’ Night)

Shambhala After Dark is a space to connect with a community of fellow meditators, and to share our experience as young people in this unique time and place. Join us for meditation, contemplation and discussion.

Sadhana of Mahamudra
Full and New Moons Usually 7:00-8:00 pm
The Sadhana of Mahamudra is one of the mind-treasures of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. This practice is recited regularly at all Shambhala Centers as a means of overcoming obstacles in one’s practice and life. All are welcome. See the monthly calendar for exact dates and times.
Song-ha (Sangha Music Circle)
Second Monday of every month 7:00-8:00 pm
Please join us each month (see the monthly calendar for the date) to sing songs from our Shambhala songbook and learn other songs and music participants would like to share that are inspired by a dharmic or Shambhalian view. All levels of musical ability are welcome. Please bring instruments if you would like.
Second Tuesday of every month 7:00-9:00 pm
The Davis Shambhala Council meets the second Tuesday of every month to discuss issues of importance to our center. All are welcome to attend.
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm
Please join us for group readings, contemplations, and sharing of our personal experiences with alcoholism and other addictive behaviors as we explore the possibilities of spirituality and sobriety following the 12 steps.
